WHAT is Plagiocephaly?

Plagiocephaly is defined as an asymmetric
shape of the head due to unilateral flattening.
It is commonly referred to as flat head
syndrome. If left untreated, babies with
plagiocephaly may develop cosmetic
deformities, develop malalignment of the jaw
leading to feeding difficulties and in extreme
cases, visual challenges.
