Gently turn the baby head to different sides each time when the parents put them down to sleep or rest.
If your baby naturally turns to one side, you can gently reposition their head after they fall asleep.
Place interesting visuals and toys (mobiles, mirrors) on different crib sides to encourage head-turning.
Switch the position of the baby in the crib to encourage them to turn their head to look for familiar sounds or sights.
Back sleeping is safe for SIDS prevention but gentle repositioning of the head to alternate sides can prevent constant pressure on one area of the skull.
